As a reminder, we will be hosting an Back to School Night tonight from 6:00-7:30.  Families are welcome to park in the Spruce and Elm street lots; please avoid parking on Spruce Street. Please do not park in fire lanes or along curbs. Only park in marked parking spaces. If you are able to walk, I encourage you to do so.

This is a time to welcome families into our classrooms to meet the teachers and have students serve as building guides.  Please note that this is not an evening for discussing your student's individual experience and progress. We will have parent conferences beginning in October to discuss individual student progress. This is an evening dedicated to meeting staff and showcasing what your student is working on at Douglas! Student work and name activities will be on display along with some books we have been reading. For the most part, this is a fluid evening without a formal introduction. However, both grades 5 and 6 will have formal presentations from 6:15-6:30 and again at 7:15-7:30.
