From the Health Office

A few important reminders from the health office:

1) Be sure the contact info in Power School is current and email addresses are those that you check regularly. We will often contact families via email with non-urgent updates or questions.

2) Have a plan in place for picking up at school if your child needs to be dismissed. The Boardwalk  health office is a shared office for Gates, Douglas, PREK and CASE collaborative students! We're not set up as an infirmary and the office is extremely busy at times.

3) Apply sunscreen and insect repellent at home. These cannot be applied at school.

4) Please keep us updated regarding your child's health. If there are changes, please call the health office or send us an email. Good communication is key to ensure children recover fully.

The Health and Nursing site on the AB website is available to review information about different health topics, FAQ's, forms and contact information.
